CHITRAL: A 17-year-old youth jumped in River Chitral to end his life after arguing with his stepmother in Snoghar area of Upper Chitral, correspondent informed on Friday. He said the youth named Ameer Hussain after arguing with his stepmother left the home and called one of his friends saying that he was going to end his life. Soon after the phone call, Ameer Hussain jumped in River Chitral as the call was disconnected, his friend said. The real mother of Ameer Hussain had also committed suicide a couple of years ago in result of frequent clashes with her husband who married another woman later. The locals said Ameer Hussain was not happy with his father’s second marriage as his stepmother used to treat him harshly which led to his suicide. APP
