PESHAWAR: ZuPeshawar, the operator of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar takes special steps in connection with World Women Day to encourage women staffers and commuters on Wednesday. According to a spokesperson of TransPeshawar, ZuPeshawar distributed gifts amongst women commuters at bus stations to commemorate the day. The spokesperson said that the provision of secure and comfortable commuting service to women is top priority of the ZuPeshawar and added that after the launch of the service of ZuPeshawar, the ratio of women commuters in public transport has increased from 2% to 25%.
