Kidnapping for ransom
KARACHI: 3 accused persons including a woman have been handed over to police on physical remand in kidnapping for ransom case. During the hearing of the case Anti Violence Crime Cell (AVCC) presented 3 accused including woman in the court. The court while handing over the accused persons to police on physical remand till July 4 directed to complete the investigation in transparent manner and file the report thereof on next hearing. The accused who were presented in the court included Rohail Khan alias Kashif, Rohan Khan and Aliya Haider. Investigation officer Muhammad Ali told the court the accused had kidnapped one Yasir from Ayub Goth and they had demanded Rs 20 lac as ransom initially for release. Later the matter was settled against ransom of Rs 2 lac. ONLINE
