On the occasion of 58th years of foundation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), the workers reiterated dedication to democracy, justice and empowerment of people of Pakistan.
In connection with the party foundation day, a gathering was organized in the hujra(male guest house)of peoples youth organization provincial leader Irfan Afridi in Bara tehsil of Khyber last day.
Besides local leaders, a large number of the party volunteers, tribal elders and members of civil society participated in it.
Addressing on the occasion Hazrat Wali Afridi, Dr Sher Shah, Zafar Khan,Khayal Rasool Shinwari,Zafarullah Khan, Hakim Khan,district head of People students federation Naveed Khan and others highlighted efforts and sacrifices of PPP leaders for democracy and rule of law in the country.
The day reminded not only the foundation of the party but also retell the beginning of the historic struggle of the PPP leaders’ democratic restoration and the protest of the rights of every single citizen of the country.
They maintained that the PPP introduced the 1973 Constitution in addition to pioneering the founding of the atomic program and under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the PPP was committed to realizing the vision of its founding leader, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
The workers unanimously passed a resolution asking the leadership of PPP to reorganize the district union to effectively carry out the political activities in Khyber.
At the end the participants cut the cake to celebrate the 58th founding day of their party.
