DHO Lower South Waziristan Dr. Inayat-ur-Rehman said in an emergency press conference at District Press Club Wana, that ten infectious diseases, TB, diphtheria, measles, pneumonia, menengitis
A campaign against cholera, hepatitis b jaundice and other infectious diseases has been started, which will continue from today till July 24. This campaign will be conducted in August and September next month.
DHO Dr. Inayat-ur- Rehman urged the regional elders, scholars, political leaders and youth to continue their full cooperation with the health department in their areas so that these diseases can be controlled.
Inait-ur- Rehman said, that this campaign is being conducted exclusively in the remote areas of Wana, Birmal, Toy Khulla, Zarmlin and Wadi Shikai. Dr. Inayat-ur- Rehman thanked Secretary Health and DG Health for supporting this special campaign.
