Tirah-Tarkho Kas road was suspended in protest against arrest of locals by the security here in Sukh area Tirah Valley, district Khyber on Monday.
It is to be mentioned here that last day security forces had apprehended ten persons during a search operation carried out, following an explosive blast in the area.
The protestors holding placards inscribed with writings of release of their relatives and chanted slogans against the poor policy of the government for restoration of peace in Tirah Valley.
They said that aim of their demonstration was to file their agitation with the security agencies against injustice done to them
The concerned authorities deliberately sabotage the peaceful environment of the Tirah Valley by conducting allegedly unnecessary search operations and detaining innocent residents of the Valley.
They threatened that if their co-tribesmen were not set free then they would have no other option but to initiate indefinite agitation.
According to the locals’ suspension of the road multiplied the miseries of the travelers.
