KHYBER: Like other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stored explosives in Khyber were disposed of under the district administration here in the mountainous area of Jamrud subdivision last day. The Provincial Ministry of Interior in a notification had asked all the district administrations of the province to get rid of explosives confiscated in various operations aimed to avoid any untoward incident. In the presence of Assistant Commissioner, Jamrud, Dr Amir Zeb, Judicial Magistrate and in- charge of police Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) Khyber, 204 Kilogram explosive, 25 handgrenades, 12 mortar shells, and 73 bullets of heavy machine gun were disposed of.
