In an effort to improve the security of the Peshawar central Jail, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahsan Abbas on Wednesday paid a visit to the central jail and checked the overall security arrangements.
SSP Operations Yasir Afridi, SP Cantt Muhammad Tahir Shah Wazir, SP Security Rahim Hussain Khan, Senior Superintendent Central Jail Khalid Abbas Khan, Deputy Superintendent Baitullah and other police officers were also present on the occasion.
Senior Superintendent Central Jail Khalid Abbas Khan took CCPO and SSP Operations Yasir Afridi on a tour of the control room, jail building, duty points and hospital and inspected the CCTV cameras to review the security arrangements.
During the visit, Khalid Abbas Khan briefed Abbas Ahsan on the security arrangements. CCPO Abbas Ahsan directed the police officers to use all available resources to further improve the security arrangements at the Central Jail.
