PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has claimed Election Commission (EC) has changed decision at the behest of law minister .
“ reference has been filed against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and member Sindh”, he said this while talking to media men here Wednesday.

Announcing to stage larger protest outside Election Commission he said those holding 84 seats are saying they will slap ban on the party holding 155 seats. They should talk according to their stature. They have no power to impose ban on Imran Khan and PTI .

They say if elections are held now then Imran Khan will win it, he said adding then they should impose martial law. It is no justification that Imran Khan will emerge victorious. Due to it they are running from election.

He held that federal government has no powers to dissolve the party. Election Commission has acted as tool of PDM. EC changed the decision at the behest of law minister and one and half line was added.
PDM leadership met EC in connection with their pending case and soon after their meeting the decision was announced, he alleged.

He went on to say meeting is never held with one party only in chamber in pending cases. Detailed discussion was held during the meeting and then Sultan Sikandar Raja and team announced the decision.

He observed EC announced two decisions in haste. One decision was issued to media and other people which did not include last line. The second decision was placed on website by including one and half line.

He remarked election commission decision is beyond law and constitution. We will go to appeal against EC decision. This is trust on PTI and Imran Khan. The decision will be returned from the court.

He stated that a larger protest was going to be staged tomorrow before EC office. Therefore, they are worried.

PDM leadership met Chief Election Commissioner before the announcement of decision and they committed contempt of court, he observed.

This proceeding was taking place under political parties Act-2002, he remarked. EC is not authorized to send reference to government under political parties act 2002. Under 2017 act the EC has such powers.

There is reference against Sindh member that he is receiving salary from Sindh government. He would have separated himself from the decision had he felt ashamed a bit.

He pointed out there is mountain of loopholes in the EC decision. We will not only go to appeal against it but will also say for initiation of adverse action.

He stated that EC has attached a list of foreign nationals with report. What procedure you have adopted which that it should tell they are not Pakistanis. Several overseas Pakistanis have been declared foreign nationals. Those who released video that they are Pakistanis have also been declared foreign nationals. What procedure was adopted for declaring those included in the list foreign nationals.

He indicated Rita Sethi is not Indian and she is American. Nasir Hussain is her husband who donated money out of joint account. This money was also declared prohibited funding.

If ban has to be imposed it should be imposed on JUI-F which receives money from governments, he added.

Benazir Bhutto had said on the funding made to Nawaz Sharif that it was provided by Osama Bin Laden, he said.

PML-N and PPP matter is also pending with election commission., he said.
