PESHAWAR
Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said character building and gaining modern day skills were essential for the youth of the province, adding that youth of the country was faced with different modern age challenges.
He expressed these views while addressing a function organized for the students of Orakzai district in connection with International Youth Day at Kohat University of Science and Technology.
Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ziaullah Khan Bangash, Vice Chancellor Kohat University Sardar Khan, Deputy Commissioners Kohat and District Orakzai, Chairman Education Board Kohat attended the event.
Students from various educational institutions of Orakzai and Kohat districts were also present on this occasion.
Speaking at the event, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said young generation should acquire education as well as skills required for them in the modern world of technology.
Muhammad Ali Saif addressed the students and asked them to develop a depth of consciousness in themselves.
He said that the world could be ruled through the power of knowledge and intellect.
He said that the KP government was taking steps for the development of youth and a number of projects have been launched to provide digital skills and understanding of information technology.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, several projects have been initiated in the IT sector for the youth, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, MPA Ziaullah Khan Bangash said that steps were being taken for business start-up for youth in Orakzai. “Government is providing financial support to youth for startups. Best sports facilities are being provided to the youth in Kohat,” he added.
Ziaullah said that the provincial government was providing opportunities for healthy activities to the youth across the province.
