23 outlaws held with wine and narcotics

Islamabad Police have arrested 23 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car, narcotics, liquor and weapons from them, a police spokesman said on Fridya.
He said that Sub-Inspector Alamgir Khan from Khana police arrested a drug pusher Gulzar and recovered 540 gram heroin from him while Sub-Inspector Micheal Gil and ASIs Zafar Mehdi and Muhammad Naseer arrested Yunus, Jamal, Asif Zaman and Mudassar for having three 30 bore pistol and 10 liter liquor.
ASI Zulfiqar Ali from CIA police arrested Nasir Mehmud in possession of 30 bore pistol while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Afzal from Anti-Car Lifting cellnabbed Saad Nazir and Zahid Mehmud for having car (LEC-5052) found stolen from Faisalabad.
ASI Nasrullah from Bahra Kau police arrested a bootlegger Muneer for having 1.5 liter liquor while ASI Nawazish from Golra police arrested Bilal and Muneer for selling petroleum products illegally in the area.
On a tip off, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iqbal along with Sihala police team raided at the house number 4, Sector A, DHA Phase-11 and nabbed 13 persons including seven females for their involvement in immoral activities. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police offiacils for effective policing measures in their respective areas.
