Narcotics Eradication Team (NET) in a joint operation with police unearthed a drug factory in the limits of Tatara Police Station here on Sunday.
Police claimed that the raid on factory was conducted on intelligence based information in Hayatabad Phase-6, a posh area of the provincial capital. An accused identified as Nazir Akbar, resident of tribal district has been arrested during the operation.
Police has also recovered during the operation 14 kg heroin, 3 kg ice and 13 packets of chemicals tools used in drug preparation and packaging have also been recovered.
During the initial investigation, the accused admitted to be involved in drug supply to other districts after preparing and packing the drugs, and others involved in the drug network.
Police have registered a case against the arrested person and launched investigation.
