Riots case
ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman Imran Khan and other leaders including Sheikh Rashid and Pervez Khattak has filed acquittal plea in the courts of District Sessions judge Islamabad in riots and gherao, jalao case. Judicial magistrate Adnan Rashid heard the case Tuesday. Pervez Khattak, Saifullah Niazi and Raja Khurram Nawaz appeared in the court. A petition seeking exemption from attendance on medical grounds for Imran Khan was filed in the court. On the other side Judge Raja Jawad Hassan of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) heard the terrorism case against PTI leaders. PTI leaders Ali Nawaz Awan and Raja Khurram appeared in the court. Exemption plea in respect of Asad Umar was filed which was accepted. The PTI leaders filed petition in ATC seeking removal of terrorism clauses from the case. Online
