KOHAT: Water and Sanitation Services Company Kohat (WSSCK) has launched an awareness campaign regarding cleanliness ahead of Eid ul Azha.
Asma Ali, Manager Media and Communication of the WSSCK told media here on Monday that the preparations for cleanliness during the three-day of Eid ul Azha is underway.
She said a comprehensive plan would be chalked out to keep the city clean by properly disposing of the animal wastes and offals at dumping sites during the three day of Eid ul Azha.
In this regard, she explained social mobilizers of KPCIP and WSSCK have conducted an awareness campaign in urban 1, NC 1, Haji Bahadur Sahib, and NC 2 Mohallah Pir Abdulllah Shah.
The company’s spokesman said the mobilizers held meetings with residents and locals.
The senior officer elaborated the social mobilizers urged people to cooperate with WSCCK for retaining the city clean during the three-day of ‘Eid ul Azha’.
Asma Ali furthermore said the social mobilizers also ask people that instead of littering them in water drainage and scattered places, they should dispose of the sacrificial animal offal and waste on the WSSCK designated points in order to keep the environment clean.
The spokesman said the awareness pamphlets regarding cleanliness during the ‘Eid ul Azha’ were also distributed among people through social mobilizers.
