The bank has said that the programme is of great utility for controlling population growth in the province. A few hours before, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, while talking to media in Islamabad, had said that out of total $3 billion that the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Executive Board had approved for Pakistan in loan under the staff level agreement, the country had received the first tranche of $1.2 billion.
