Faiq reiterates resolve to build Jinnah’s Pakistan

Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah said Pakistan existed after the unwavering struggle and sacrifices of our heroes, founding fathers and now it is our duty to protect integrity, solidarity and image of the country and make it a cradle of peace.
Shah while addressing a rally organised by ATP youth wing in connection with 76th Independence Day here on Sunday, said this day reminds us of the innumerable sacrifices rendered by our founding fathers under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for carving this homeland “Pakistan” for us.
Large number ATP central, provincial senior leaders, activists, workers, noted political figures and people from different walks of life participated in the rally.
The participants were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans regarding 76th Independence Day.
The party leader said today, we also reaffirm our resolve to uphold Pakistan’s ideology and make Pakistan an ideal modern Islamic welfare nation-state.
Faiq reiterated resolve to build Quaid e Azam Ali Jinnah’s Pakistan.
He added the nation should seek guidance from the ideology and thoughts of the founding fathers and put the welfare of the public at the centre of their mission of national rejuvenation.
“Let us vow to turn Pakistan into a nation-state that is reflective of the ideals of our founding fathers,” the ATP chief asked in his address to participants of the rally.
He said the day was a watershed moment in the nation’s history.
“Today, we pay rich tributes to Muslims of the sub-continent and express our collective gratitude to them for their heroic struggle, and epic sacrifices for the creation of a new state,” Shah said.
The establishment of Pakistan is an outcome of Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s single-minded devotion, unflinching resolve and his unwavering struggle, he added.
The ATP chairman congratulated the nation on the 76th Anniversary of Independence Day of Pakistan.
Shah said at the same time, it is also a fact that we have not been able to fully realize the dream that our founding fathers dreamed; the dream of socio-economic justice, rule of and equality before the law, and the dream of an egalitarian society.
