Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued written order for hearing of petition filed against possible privatization of Pakistan International Airline (PIA).
Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh of LHC has issued 2-page written order.
It has been said in written order that constitutional and public interest related questions have been raised in petition.
It has been said in written order that notice is also issued to Attorney General for assistance. The parties should submit their reply by November 30.
It is pertinent to say that possible privatization of PIA has been challenged in High Court.
The stand taken in the petition is that caretaker government has no authority to privatize PIA.
