The trader community of the tehsil on Monday announced a complete shutter down strike on August 28 against heavy taxation and prolonged power outages.
Addressing a press conference here, the president of Markaz-e-Anjuman Tajran Haji Muhammad Tariq said that a complete strike would be observed on August 28 at Takht Bhai market and urged the trader bodies to make the protest successful.
Haji Gul Dad Khan,Patron-in-Chief, Wahab Yusufi, General Secretary, Mehmood Shah, Deputy General Secretary, Kashif Khan, General Secretary of Meena Bazaar, Sher Mama, President of Sabzi Mandi, and other members of the executive council were also present on the occasion.
They demanded that the government must accept their lawful demands and said that other parts of the tehsil would also observe strike.
A meeting will be held with traders from Sher Garh, Lund Khwar, Hathian, Jhandai, and others market representatives for the complete strike.
It is pertinent to mention here that trader bodies have announced a complete strike on August 28 against the government tax policies and load-shedding.
