Police veterans honored at special ceremony in Peshawar

A special ceremony was held at the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines in Peshawar to honor police veterans who were injured or disabled during the recent wave of terrorism. The event was held under the leadership of SSP Operations Masood Ahmed, with SP Hamidullah Khan also in attendance.
Police officers and personnel who sustained injuries or disabilities in the line of duty participated in the event. The gathering served as a tribute to their bravery and sacrifice in the fight against terrorism.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Masood Ahmed paid glowing tribute to the martyrs and veterans, calling them the “true heroes of the nation” for their unwavering dedication to peace and homeland.
“The sacrifices made by the officers and personnel of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police during this wave of terrorism are unparalleled—an extraordinary example in the history of humanity,” he said.
He added that organizing such a gathering was a gesture of respect and gratitude from the police department toward its brave veterans.
During the meeting, the challenges faced by injured personnel were discussed, and assurances were given regarding the provision of medical facilities and continued support.
