ATC dismisses interim bail pleas of Omar Ayub

Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has dismissed interim bail of opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Omar Ayub in 10 cases and issued order to arrest him and present before the court.
The court announced this decision for not persuading the case by him.
According to sources these all cases were registered in connection with May 9 violent incidents. It has been declared that Omar Ayub has played central role in these cases.
His bail pleas have been declared null and void due to non appearance in the court.
On the other hand Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Faisalabad has issued contempt of court notice to Omar Ayub for not appearing before it in May 9 related cases.
The court has made it clear that his non appearance despite repeated calls by court is not acceptable.
CPO Faisalabad has been directed to present Omar Ayub in the court on July 18.
The petition for disqualification of Omar Ayub came up for hearing in Election Commission (EC).
A five members bench of EC presided over by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) took up for hearing the reference sent by Speaker National Assembly.
However Omar Ayub did not appear in EC.
The petitioner Babar Nawaz Khan appeared in EC and took the plea Omar Ayub has no more remained truthful and trustworthy (Sadiq and Ameen) .
EC told Peshawar High Court (PHC) has issued stay order on this matter. Court has been resorted to for its cancellation. Hearing is fixed on August 5. EC adjourned the hearing due to it.
