ISLAMABAD
District and Sessions Court Islamabad has extended interim bail of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in May 9, other cases. The court has extended the pre-arrest bail of both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi until January 27, 2026 in respective cases. .
May 9 and other five cases against PTI founder came up for hearing in district and sessions court Islamabad. The court while extending the order of restraining authorities from arresting Imran Khan extended the interim bail of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi till January 27 in relevant cases.
Additional and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka heard the cases Tuesday.
The court directed PTI founder to appear before it in person or through video link on next hearing.
The arguments on bail pleas could not take place during the hearing of the cases due to non-availability of PTI founder.
Shamsa Kiyani advocate appeared on behalf of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
The cases of May 9 incident, attempt of murder, fake receipts and other cases are registered against Imran Khan while case against Bushra Bibi is registered for filing alleged fake receipts
The court adjourned hearing of the case till January 27.
