Recovery of missing citizens
KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) constitutional bench has ordered to register FIR on petition seeking recovery of missing citizens . The petitions regarding recovery of missing citizens came up for hearing before SHC constitutional bench Tuesday. The counsel for petitioner took the plea police personnel had taken into their custody the missing citizens from their homes. Following raid in home, contact was made with Sachal police station in connection with the personnel taken into custody. Police station showed ignorance about them. Nothing is known about missing citizens so far. The replies filed by the respondents were made part of court’s record. The court directed the petitioner to resort to respective police station for registration of FIR. The court ordered to register FIR for tracing missing persons. One Rabia Basri filed petition for recovery of Shah Wali Ullah and Abdul Latif. IG Sindh police, DIG West Karachi, CTD Civil Lines, SHO Sachal and others were made respondents. DNA
