LANDIKOTAL: One person was killed and three women fell unconscious due to a gas leakage incident in Landikotal, police sources said on Konday. They said the incident occurred in the Sheikhmalikhel village in Landikotal tehsil, where gas accumulated in a room after a gas stove was left on. Although no fire broke out, the strong gas fumes and lack of oxygen led to the tragedy. As a results, police said, one man identified as Samiullah Shinwari suffocated and died. While five others including women and children fill unconscious. The unconscious persons were shifted to a hospital, where two of them were later referred to Peshawar in critical condition.
