Fasting Promotes Patience, Compassion and Unity: Dr. Ehsan Bhutta

Secretary / Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab Dr. Ehsan Bhutta stated that fasting in the holy month of Ramadan is not merely abstaining from food and drink but a profound spiritual practice that promotes patience, compassion, discipline, and unity among people.
He expressed these views while attending a dignified collective Iftar reception organized by Al-Sheikh Azad Welfare Foundation at the historic Badshahi Mosque (from 1st Ramadan till the end of Ramadan).
Dr. Ehsan Bhutta appreciated the arrangements made for the fasting attendees and said that the Auqaf Department Punjab remains fully committed to serving devotees and ensuring the provision of the best possible facilities at religious sites, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
He reviewed the arrangements and expressed satisfaction over the administrative measures in place.
The event was hosted by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad. Administrator Badshahi Mosque Shahid Hameed Warraich including other senior officers and religious scholars also attended the gathering.
Khateeb of Badshahi Mosque, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, highlighted the virtues of Ramadan and emphasized unity among the Muslim Ummah. Later, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad led a collective prayer for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country.
