A delegation of office bearers of National Press Club, Islamabad headed by Senior Joint Secretary and Incharge Press Club, Rawalpindi Mr. Abid Abbasi called on Deputy Commissioner, Rawalpindi Mr. Talat Mehmood Gondal and discussed various matters pertaining to functioning of Press Club and initiatives to promote coordination among media persons and government functionaries.
The delegation was comprises on Joint Secretary National Press Club, Islamabad Ms. Shakeela Jalil, Members Governing Body National Press Club, Islamabad Khan Gulzar Hussain, Khalid Chaudhry and Senior Journalist Syed Sultan Shah. Deputy Commissioner, Rawalpindi Mr. Talat Mehmood Gondal appreciated the contributions of media its positive and constructive role in highlighting the grievances of masses and their remedial measures.
He said that district administrative; Rawalpindi is striving hard to mitigate the sufferings of people and development projects were being implemented with the expenditure of millions of rupees.
Mr. Abid Abbasi briefed on the occasion about the initiatives of the management of Press Club, Rawalpindi to play its role to promote the services and working of various organizations.
