Abu Rehan Cricket Club wins thrilling match in Asif Mahmood Memorial Tournament

In an exciting match of the inaugural Asif Mahmood Memorial Junior District Club Cricket Tournament organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi Zone One, Abu
Rehan Cricket Club defeated Young Fighter Cricket Club and advanced to the next round. Muhammad Azlan played a stellar role in his team’s success, scoring a brilliant century of 104 runs, leading Abu Rehan to a total of 246/7 in their allotted 40 overs.Azlan’s knock included 16 fours and a six, while Hamza Saleem contributed with a solid 50 runs.
Muhammad Ali added 14 runs, and despite a good bowling performance from Mirza Ammar (3 wickets) and Ahmed Khan (2 wickets), Young Fighter couldn’t defend the target. In response, Young Fighter Cricket Club was bowled out for 147 runs in 29.4 overs. Zubair top-scored with 51 runs, and Shayan contributed 37.
However, Muhammad Hammad’s exceptional bowling performance, claiming four wickets for just 12 runs, along with support from Inshal Nawab (2 wickets) and Azlan and Faraz Ahmed (1 wicket each), ensured Abu Rehan’s comfortable victory.
