Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kohat Ms. Reena Suhrawardy on Wednesday paid visit to various areas of Kohat city along with the Water and Sanitation Services Company Kohat (WSSCK) Deputy General Manager Tahir Afif and Chief Sanitary Inspector Muhammad Sohail.
According to the details, shared by the WSSCK Media cell here, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohat Reena Suhrawardy along with Deputy General Manager of WSSCK Tahir Afif and Chief Sanitary Inspector Muhammad Sohail visited different areas of Kohat city and especially reviewed the cleaning of major and small drains.
The WSSCK Deputy General Manager Tahir Afif and Chief Sanitary Inspector Muhammad Sohail and Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohat Rina Suhrawardy visited the Komen Hangu Road, Sabzi Mandi Bazar, Main Bazar, Zargran Bazar and Miyankhel Bazar.
During the visit, Deputy General Manager Tahir Afif briefed the senior official on the problems faced in connection with cleanliness.
They were told that almost all small drains in the bazaars have been encroached due to which sanitation staff face difficulty in cleaning.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohat Reena Suhrawardy expressed satisfaction over the ongoing cleaning plan undertaken by WSSCK.
Reena Suhrawrdy said that special attention is needed for cleaning drains and for this the district administration has taken steps to remove encroachments. Together with will organize the whole plan.
WSSCK Manager Media and Communication Asma Ali, Assistant Manager Sewerage and Drainage Iqra Fayaz, Assistant Manager Solid Waste Management Imad and Assistant Engineer Abdullah were also present on the occasion of the visit.
