Signing Of MOU on ISO Certification between Mardan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Vertical Registrar Company Limited
Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vertical Registrar Company Limited organized a joint session on ISO certification which was presided over by Zahir Shah, President of Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the session, Chief Executive Officer of Vertical Registrar Laeeq Khan, Miss Sophia Jamal Manager, Miss Hiba Noor Sales and Marketing Executive, Miss Sadia Sales and Marketing Executive, besides members of the Executive Committee of Mardan Chamber, Cabinet Members of various sectors including Flour Mills Association, Private Schools Association Mardan, Private Hospitals Mardan, Wedding Halls Association Mardan, Light Engineering Gujar Garhi and Tahit Bhai, Mega Marts, Hotels and Restaurants Mardan Press and Media representatives participated in a large numbers.
Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, president Zahir Shah said in his address that Mardan is the second largest city of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, where there is extensive work in various sectors, but unfortunately, there is not enough development in the business of our area.
The main reason is the absence of standardization due to which our business and products do not get any acceptance in the foreign markets. He said that the main objective of this session is to register the various sectors of this area according to international standards and to introduce them to foreign markets.
He added that Mardan Chamber has been providing services to its members for long time, in honor of which the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality management certificate was awarded to Mardan Chamber, which is a clear proof that Mardan Chamber Of Commerce is providing the best services to its members.
Laeeq Khan, Chief Executive Officer of Vertical Registrar Company Limited, gave a detailed briefing to the participants on the aims and objectives of ISO. Laeeq Khan said that our company is providing various types of certification in different sectors, in which ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 27001:2013 are noteworthy.
It helps a lot to introduce at foreign level because all these standards are same all over the world. Addressing the participants, Laeeq Khan said that those members, firms or companies who are interested in getting ISO certification should contact through Mardan chamber and benefit from this facility.
To the effect to provide fruitful services a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vertical Registrar Company.
At the end of the session, Mardan Chamber President Zahir Shah thanked all the distinguished guests.
