Regional Directors (RDs) of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) from KPK decided to expand enrollment drive, bringing maximum number of people into the educational net.
The RDs from seven regions of KPK at their meeting, presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui worked out a plan providing special educational facilities to the aspiring students. It was decided that a special incentives will be provided to the secondary-level students from FATA and Baluchistan. The package of the incentive will be announced soon.
The VC advised the RDs to set up Facilitation Desk in their offices to facilitate the people to carry on their future study. He noted that there had been upward trend in the students’ enrollment in the recent years. He appreciated the RDs for their hard work in bringing the educational facilities at the peoples; door-step.
The meeting was also attended by the Director Regional Affairs Dr. Arif Saleem Arif, Director Admission Ziaul Hasnain Naqvi, Director Students Rana Tariq Javed and Dean Education Dr. Nasir Mahmood. A publicity plan making the enrollment drive successful was also discussed during the meeting.
