Annual prize distribution ceremony was held in Frontier Corps Public School (FCPS) Landi Kotal Cant. on Wednesday.
Besides Commandant Khyber Rifle Col Asim Aziz Keyani as a chief guest, Chairman FCPS Lieutenant Col Zain-ul- Abedin, Tehsil Chairman Shah Khalid, a number of tribal elders, parents and students were among the participants of the ceremony.
Addressing on the occasion Col Asim Aziz Keyani highlighted the importance of education and said it was the need of time to teach the learners while keeping in view essentials of time.
Besides formal education, teaching of norms and values to the students, a must, he added and said the student community is the asset of the country that needs exhaustive care.
He urged the parents and teachers to join hands together to upbring the new generation with responsibility so that they could become responsible and useful citizens of the country.
He congratulated the best students for their extraordinary performance and asked the rest of learners to follow in the footsteps of the former to become successful ones in their life. Earlier, the school Principal Mr Fazal Rehman presented the annual report of the institution.
The school students, dressed in colorful clothes, presented songs and tableaus that amused the participants. At the end the chief guest gave away trophies and prizes to the students who exhibited their talents in curriculum and extracurricular activities.
