Pakistan Army conducted a timely rescue and relief operation to evacuate citizens stranded due to heavy snowfall in Jandrot and Pir Nasura areas. As a result of effective emergency response, the Kotli–Nakyal road has been fully restored for traffic.
During the operation, Pakistan Army personnel safely rescued affected families and shifted them to secure locations. Food supplies and other essential relief items were distributed among the affected population. Several vehicles trapped in the snow were also provided with petrol to facilitate their movement.
Through prompt and professional measures, vital ground links in the area were successfully restored. Pakistan Army reaffirmed its commitment to serving the public and ensuring the restoration of normal life despite harsh weather conditions.
