ATC orders not to arrest PTI leaders till June 24 in November 26, SC protest cases

Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has ordered PTI leaders be not arrested till June 24 in the cases registered against them in connection with November 26 and Supreme Court (SC) protest cases.
As many as 161 bail before arrest pleas of PTI leaders came up for hearing in the court Monday.
Duty Judge Tahir Abbas of ATC No 1 Islamabad took up bail pleas for hearing.
Chairman PTI barrister Gohar Khan, opposition leader Omar Ayub, senator Falak Naz Chitrali,MNA Sajid Khan, MNA Asif Khan, MNA Fazal Muhammad Khan, MNA Sher Ali Arbab, MNA Abdul Latif, MNA Latif Khosa, Senator Shibli Faraz, MNA Umair Niazi, former Prime Minister AJK Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Rauf Hassan , Niaz Ullah Niazi, Nadia Khattak, Shoaib Shaheen Ali Bokhari, Raja Basharat and others appeared in the court.
The court adjourned hearing of bail before arrest pleas till June 24. Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked challans of all these cases have come to him but bails have not come. Counsel Ali Bokhari said Bail pleas of several accused out of these cases have been fixed on June 24.
PTI leader Abdul Latif Khosa gave arguments on bail plea. Latif Khosa said I have joined investigation and filed the record. When this FIR was lodged I was in National Assembly (NA). MNA Latif Khosa advocate completed his arguments in SC protest case.
Ali Bokhari advocate said the other co-accused nominated in FIR are not present.
Judge Tahir Ali Abbas inquired has bail of any accused been confirmed so far.
The counsel told the court Ishtiaq A Khan and Sardar Muhammad Masroof Khan have been discharged from the case on the basis of CCTV. The court should order investigation officer not to resort to pick and choose. It should be checked with reference to all either they were present on the occasion or otherwise.
During the hearing of the case Ali Bokhari said today is strike. My attendance be marked as accused and not as counsel. Sher Afzal Marwat said I came in the court first of all. I have become tired by appearing on dates. Court should decide about these bail pleas either they be accepted or discharged. These are such cases which are baseless. You please dismiss them. If state wants to arrest us then it should arrest us. They have made passing near the police station a crime.
Sher Afzal Marwat said I have to go to UK. If I could not come on next date then I am filing exemption from attendance plea just now. Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked “ Go to UK but we have closed advance booking .
On the other hand exemption pleas from Bushra Bibi were filed in 10 cases.
Exemption pleas from the side of MPA Ali Shah, Suleman Akram Raja, Mashal Azam, Zartaj Gull and Shehryar Afridi were also filed. Bushra Bibi, Suleman Akram Raja, Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, barrister Gohar Khan and other leaders are nominated in the cases.
Counsels Sardar Muhammad Masroof Khan advocate, Ansar Kiyani advocate, Murtaza Toori, Zahid Bashir Dar advocate appeared in the court on behalf of the accused. Overall 10 cases against PPP leaders are registered in police stations Kohsar, Margalla, Aabpara, Secretariat and others.
