Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahsan Abbas has said that after erstwhile FATA merger with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police officer equipped with all resources are being managed to maintain law and order situation.
He expressed these views in his visit to tribal district Khyber here on Tuesday. CCPO during his visit was received by District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Muhammad Iqbal and other police officials.
During the one day visit, CCPO also paid visit to Landikotal, Machini, Khyber, Rifle Officer and Torkham border and inspected security arrangements.
DPO Dr Iqbal also briefed Abbas Ahsan about the historical places of the district.
CCPO on the occasion urged the police officers of the district to keep vigilant eyes on the issues pertaining law and order situation with cordial relation with masses, adding that district Khyber has a tradition and therefore, police should work in the domain of their culture.
Later on, CCPO Ahsan paid a visit to Landikotal, Begari and Shahkas road and inspected various security arrangements taken by the police force in the area.
