Bangash terms robotics technology key to attain national goals

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Higher Education Kamran Bangash on Saturday said that if the substance of education, research and exploration were not inculcated in human beings the treasures of nature would be out of human reach.
He expressed these views while addressing a workshop held here at Mechatronics Department of University of Peshawar(UoP) which was jointly organized by Ministry of Science, Technology and Information Technology and Directorate of Youth Affairs KP.
Kamran Bangash said that technical skills and vocational education were among two master keys which could open the path of development. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has taken pragmatic steps for promotion of robotics technology.
Bangash urged the participants of the workshop to utilize their energies for learning robotics and to find ways for implementation of learned skills.
He said the children studying in government schools are receiving more rewards and honors as compared to the students of private school which was the proof that government was committed to provide modern education to all children.
UoP Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iftikhar Hussain along with Chairman Mechatronics Engineering Dr Mohammad Tahir Khan also address the workshop.
At least 200 teams of talented students from the country attended the workshop where they competed in different Robotics and Mechatronics technologies. The workshop was also included e-gaming and project projection.
