In a significant move to support the welfare of police personnel and the families of martyrs, Bannu Region Police signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al-Khidmat Hospital, Bannu, ensuring special medical concessions and services for police families and the relatives of fallen officers.
The agreement was formalized during a ceremony attended by Regional Police Officer (RPO) Bannu, Sajjad Khan (PSP), along with senior representatives from Al-Khidmat Foundation including President Abdul Manan, Engineer Fatehullah, and Chairman Ehsan Mandan.
Speaking at the event, RPO Sajjad Khan paid tribute to the sacrifices of police martyrs, stating, “The sacrifices made by our brave officers will never be forgotten. This agreement is a step towards honoring those families who lost their loved ones in the line of duty.”
Under the agreement, 50pc discount on surgeries and operations for families of martyred police personnel and 20pc discount on laboratory and radiology tests.
President Abdul Manan of Al-Khidmat Foundation said, “Police officers are the guardians of our peace and safety. It is our moral and social obligation to stand by the families of martyrs and ensure they receive the best possible medical care.”
The initiative is being hailed as a milestone in strengthening police-community solidarity and ensuring the well-being of those who have served and sacrificed for the nation.
