ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, visited the Shaheen Chowk Underpass project along with Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza and relevant officers. Chairman CDA inspected the ongoing construction activities across different sections of the project. During the briefing on the progress of the project’s construction work, the relevant officers informed Chairman CDA that 80% of the barrel wall work for the Shaheen Chowk Underpass project has been completed. It was further briefed that 60% of the wall work for Ramp One, included in this project, has also been completed. Additionally, 100% of the project’s barrel girder work has been finished. Chairman CDA was briefed that the earthwork and roadwork for the Shaheen Chowk project are also progressing rapidly, and work on the walls for Ramp Two has also commenced.
