PESHAWAR
Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati attended the Grand Alumni Homecoming 2025 at the University of Peshawar as Chief Guest.
The event marked the university’s 75 years of academic and research excellence and brought together alumni from various disciplines, faculty members, and notable dignitaries.
In his address, Speaker Babar Saleem Swati paid tribute to the University of Peshawar’s seven decades of academic contributions and emphasized that the institution has remained a strong intellectual and social beacon for both the province and the country. He added that the university has consistently produced capable, principled and visionary leaders who are serving across key national institutions.
The Speaker also appreciated the efforts of the university administration and the organizing team for the successful conduct of the event. He particularly thanked Vice Chancellor Dr Johar Ali Khan, President Alumni Association Amjad Ali Arbab and Arbab Shehzad for their dedication, administrative excellence, and vision that ensured the success of this historic event.
He noted that such events reconnect alumni with their alma mater, provide guidance to current students and further strengthen the identity and legacy of academic institutions. Speaker Babar Saleem Swati reaffirmed his commitment to supporting higher education, encouraging research, and promoting the development of educational institutions.
