Chairman Board of Governors, Professor Abid Jamil, visited the Ayub Medical institution (AMI) to review ongoing construction and development works and assessed the quality and pace of progress.
During the visit, he inspected the renovation work of the HO Female Hostel and directed authorities to complete the project at the earliest to ensure improved residential facilities.
He was informed that new washrooms are being constructed at various locations, while water filtration plants will soon be completed to provide clean drinking water.
Professor Abid Jamil also reviewed the establishment of a new triage area and the expansion of the Emergency Department, including a separate modern facility for patients with acute chest pain. He later visited the college main hall and inspected renovation work at conference rooms and the canteen, issuing instructions to further enhance construction standards.
He appreciated the performance of the Maintenance Department and expressed confidence that visible improvements would soon benefit both the public and the institution.
