Foreign funding case
ISLAMABAD
Challan has been filed in Banking Court Islamabad against PTI founder and others in foreign funding case. Its scrutiny process by registrar is underway.
The court has adjourned the hearing of the case till may 11. Counsel for PTI founder made mention of assistance from chat GPT. Fateh Ullah Burki, counsel for PTI founder said during the hearing of the case that challan has not been provided to them. Judge Abdul Ghafoor remarked challan of the case has come. Prosecutor Wasiq Malik told the court challan has been filed. Scrutiny by the prosecutor is underway.
Counsel for PTI founder said registrar is still conducting scrutiny of challan. I asked from chat GPT about scrutiny.
Upon it prosecutor Wasiq Malik said he does not know that registrar conducts scrutiny of challan in special courts.
Counsel for PTI founder said “ tell me registrar can conduct scrutiny of challan under what law. Prosecutor should tell me about scrutiny.
Prosecutor Wasiq Malik said I have not come here to make you understand.
Upon it he went out of court room.
The court was told the process of scrutiny of challan in respect of foreign funding case is underway. However challan has not been presented formally so far.
The court adjourned hearing of the case till May 11.
