Chinese Cultural Show at PNCA

ISLAMABAD(DNA): Artists of the Inner Mongolia Art Troupe presented a colourful performance at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) auditorium, Islamabad.
The performance was jointly arranged by Chinese Culture Centre in Islamabad and PNCA in connection with Chinese New Year Celebrations. The Chinese artists spell bound performance included traditional Chinese music and dances and acrobatics.
The show started with group dance “Tea Serving performance”, this dance is being performed welcoming New Year when relatives visit each other houses in festive mood dressed in colourful costumes.
Roaming House is the tune of life turned by UNESCO the oral and intangible culture heritage of humanity. Chinese are popular for acrobatic and the flats spinning is their specialty. Male solo mother and female solo Maria variation were beautifully presented. The National Performing Arts Group of PNCA presented Pakistani folk and traditional dances.
Other performances includes Flute solo, Prior Love, Khoomel Performance, The Warrior, Balancing of Contortionists, Female Group Dance, Sain Baina uu, Acrobatic: High pole Handstand, Horse-head fiddle Instrumental Ensemble and Song and Dance: United as One. The show was attended by both Pakistani and Chinese art lovers. DNA
