PESHAWAR: Like the rest of the country, the Christian community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and traditional spirit on Wednesday. Churches across the province were beautifully decorated, with Christmas trees adorned and festive lights illuminating homes and places of worship. Security measures were heightened across the province, including in Peshawar, to ensure the safety of the community during the celebrations. The Christian community gathered to perform their religious ceremonies and engage in prayers. The Christmas festivities began in the first week of December, with vibrant lights decorating homes and churches. In addition to Christmas trees, cakes were cut in various places as part of the celebration.
Special prayers were offered for the development of the country, the establishment of peace, security, and prosperity for all.
