PESHAWAR
City Mayor Peshawar, Haji Zubair has said that people would be provided all possible facilities in public parks and also announced the formation of a committee for bringing improvement in the conditions of parks with Director (West), Kamran Amjad as focal person for it.
Following the directives of Peshawar High Court (PHC), the City Mayor presided over a meeting here on Thursday. Those who attended the meeting included Director East, Rehman Khattak, Director West Kamran Amjad, Assistant Director (Regulations) Zulhijja Ilyas, Engineer Daud and Gardens’ Supervisor Mohammad Ali.
On this occasion, the City Mayor directed for bringing improvement in the conditions of 20 parks and provision of all facilities to the people inside them. He further directed for bringing improvement in the deteriorating conditions of benches and completion of the necessary requirements including walking track, washrooms and provision of drinking water.
He also constituted a committee for provision of all possible facilities in all parks of the city within a period of two weeks and formed a committee for the purpose with Director (West) Kamran Ajmad as focal person of it. He further directed the plantation of maximum number of saplings during the monsoon plantation drive.
