PESHAWAR: significant operation led by the City Division Police has resulted in the exposure of an intersectional vehicle lifting gang, with the arrest of five key suspects involved in a series of thefts across various districts. The accused individuals, identified as Naushad, Mustafa, Gul Hussain, Umair, and Mohsin, are residents of Charsadda, Dir, Hangu, and Peshawar. Police claimed that the groups were linked to vehicle thefts in multiple police jurisdictions within Peshawar.The breakthrough in the investigation came after a series of scientific methods were employed, leading to the swift apprehension of the suspects. Under the leadership of SP City Khalid Khan and DSP Investigation Khalid Khan, a coordinated effort with the assistance of DSP Hashtangari Circle Zahoor Khan, DSP City Imtiaz Alam, SHO Javed Khan, SHO Qazi Akmal, and SHO Mudassar Iqbal culminated in the recovery of seven stolen vehicles.
