CHARSADDA: Mohammad Siyar, a prominent political figure in Charsadda, met with the provincial minister for labour Fazal Shakur Khan to discuss the current political situation of the PTI. During the meeting, Siyar Khan expressed deep concern over the political environment for PTI workers and supporters across the province, especially in the district. Siyar Khan shared that his son, Naeemullah, had been a dedicated Youth President and an active worker for PTI in Charsadda. He described Naeemullah’s commitment to the party and his significant sacrifices for its cause. However, Siyar Khan noted that in recent times, Naeemullah’s life had been put in serious danger due to the crackdown on political workers. “His only ‘sin,’ as I see it, was his unwavering support for PTI,” Siyar Khan stated. “This led to threats to his life, forcing him to leave Pakistan for his safety.” The meeting highlighted the challenges faced by political workers in the current environment and raised concerns about the impact of political repression on the future of party activism in the region.
