CM enhanced relief for Kurram displaced families

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, during his visit to District Kurram, announced an increase in the relief package for operation-affected families from Rs110,000 to Rs230,000, ensuring that displaced persons living with host families would also receive assistance, said an official statement.
Addressing the displaced families of Central Kurram, the Chief Minister assured them that all their demands would be reviewed and relief extended on the pattern of District Khyber.
He emphasized that tribal communities have made immense sacrifices for the country, leaving behind homes and livelihoods, and that the provincial government stands firmly with them.
He also directed authorities to resolve long-standing issues, including dual addresses of tribal displaced persons, and to provide maximum facilities to affected families. Highlighting the importance of social harmony, he urged communities to set aside sectarian differences and focus on development and prosperity.
During the visit, CM Afridi inaugurated the upgradation of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sadda from Category C to B, the Emergency Block at Sadda Hospital, and the Residential Block of Government Degree College Sadda.
Provincial Minister for Relief Aqibullah and Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah accompanied him.
