CM’s special assistant distributes allotment letters to owners

Special Assistant to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Housing Dr Amjad Ali on Wednesday distributed allotment letters among the owners of high-rise residential flats, a housing scheme of the provincial housing authority at Hayatabad Peshawar.
Dr Amjad said that high rise flats have been made equipped with all the modern facilities including car parking, mosque and other facilities.
Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Authority Imran Khan Wazir, Deputy Director Yaqub and other relevant officials were also present on this occasion. Addressing the ceremony, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister hailed the completion of this project and said that providing better residential facilities to the people of the province was the first priority of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and KP government.
Dr Amjad said that the government was well aware of the issues faced by the aforementioned scheme, adding that first the land was allotted to the occupants for this scheme and then in 2013, its allotment was started in installments through lottery.
He said that it was a mega project worth Rs 2.7 billion and it took a lot of time with difficulties to complete it, but finally the staff of KP Housing Authority succeeded in achieving the target.
KP-CM Aide furthered that today is also a happy day for the owners who have received the allotment letter who have got modern residential facilities in Hayatabad.
The provincial government has initiated residential projects in different districts including Hangu Township, Kohat Jarma, Swat Dagram, Abbottabad Havelian Township, Malazai Township, Jalozai Township, Nowshera Housing Scheme.
The Special Assistant hoped that all under construction projects in the province would be completed soon.
The Special Assistant assured on the occasion that a lift would also be arranged for the convenience of the flat residents. At the end of the ceremony, the Special Assistant provided the allotment letters to the flat owners.
