Mardan: Commissioner Mardan Division, Nisar Ahmad, has directed full implementation of the minority quota in government jobs and admissions in educational institutions. He also sought details from various departments on recruitments made over the past five years. Chairing a meeting at his office to address issues faced by the minority community, he acknowledged their significant role in national development and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to resolving their problems. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance & Planning Syed Fahad Iftikhar, Secretary to the Commissioner Fazal Wahid, Assistant Commissioner Relief Muhammad Dawood Khan, Executive Engineer C&W Naqeebullah Khattak, former MPA Ravi Kumar, and other minority leaders. Key decisions were made regarding the implementation of minority quotas, allocation of land for a Christian cemetery, distribution of financial aid to deserving minority families, and provision of scholarships to students.
