PESHAWAR
Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Lower Kurram, Azmatullah, has stated that the peace agreement in Kurram district is being implemented 100%, with law and order as the top priority.
The transportation of daily use supplies is carried out under strict security to designated areas.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, AAC Azmatullah emphasized that the peace agreement between both parties is being fully enforced adding that demolition of bunkers is ongoing on a daily basis.
He further mentioned that concrete bunkers are being destroyed using explosives, while other bunkers are being removed with heavy machinery.
The Additional Assistant Commissioner also highlighted that supply convoys are being arranged as needed. The civil administration, police, Frontier Corps (FC), and the army ensure the safe transportation of essential goods to designated locations under tight security.
He reaffirmed the commitment to reopening roads as per the peace agreement, stressing that maintaining law and order remains the administration’s foremost priority.
