PTI founder Rehai Force
ISLAMABAD
Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has sought reply within 10 days from Chief Minister (CM) KP Sohail Afridi on the matter of formation of PTI founder Rehai Force.
The court has sought reply from federal government as well by issuing a notice.
A 3-member bench of FCC presided over by Chief Justice (CJ) Amin ud Din Khan heard the case.
The FCC maintained federal government should ensure law and constitution is not violated in formation of force.
Ali Nawaz counsel for petitioner Zahir Ahmad presented documents about Rehai Force taking the plea that Sohail Afridi gave statement our competition is with dacoits. Such force is threat to peace and security. The order of Karachi high Court is there regarding law and order.
Justice Baqar Ali Najfi inquired did the provincial cabinet allow to form the force.
The counsel for the petitioner said cabinet has not given such permission. such force should not be established for convicted person.
The court while seeking reply within 10 days adjourned hearing of the case.
