Protest over Lahore incident
RAWALPINDI: Local courts of Rawalpindi have ordered to discharge from the cases near 300 students and non student elements who were arrested from different areas of Rawalpindi during protest staged in reaction to Lahore incident. Over 200 accused were presented in the court of civil judge judicial magistrate Azmat Hayat and 77 accused in the court of civil judge judicial magistrate Jahanzeb Khan. The police took the plea all the accused are nominated in the cases. The cases of vandalizing during protest, siege and arson, causing damage to properties, injuring police men, violating section 144 and interfering in the affairs of government are registered against them.
